7001 Angular Contact Ball Bearings are also designed to carry a combined load. These standard contact angles are 15 and 25 deg due to the thin nature of this bearing. The smaller contact angle are more suitable for high speed applications. Those with larger contact angle feature superior axial load resistance. Machine tools and other precision equipment often require high precision matched pair angular contact ball bearings. Preloaded angular contact bearings are utilized with specified preload levels.
