Angular Contact Ball Bearing Introduction:
Angular contact bearings, also called angular contact thrust or radial thrust bearings, are able to support axial loads because the shoulders on the inner and outer races (rings) are raised slightly on one side at an angle to the bearing’s operating axis, providing greater axial support in one direction.
Angular contact ball bearings can bear radial load and axial load simultaneously. It can work at a high speed. The greater the contact angle, the higher the axial bearing capacity. The contact angle is the angle between the contact point of the ball and raceway in the radial plane and the vertical line of the bearing axis. High precision and high speed bearings usually take 15 degrees of contact angle. Under the action of the axial force, the contact angle will increase.
Angular Contact Ball Bearing Classification:
Angular contact ball bearings are: 7000C (=15), 7000AC (=25 =25) and 7000B (=40 =40). The bearing's locking port is on the outer ring, which can not be separated from the inner and outer rings, and can bear radial and axial combined loads and axial loads in one direction. The ability to bear axial load is determined by the contact angle. The greater the contact angle, the higher the ability to bear axial load. The bearing can restrict the axial displacement of the shaft or shell in one direction.
The contact ball bearing can bear both radial and axial loads at the same time, and can also bear the pure axial load. The axial load capacity of the bearing is determined by the contact angle and increases with the increase of the contact angle.
Angular Contact Ball Bearing Precision:
The accuracy grade of angular contact ball bearing includes dimension tolerance and rotation accuracy. The accuracy from low to high is expressed as P0 (normal), P6 (P6X), P5, P4 and P2. In addition, European and American brands also use P3, P7 and P9 to express accuracy level. P3 is equivalent to P6 level of ISO and JIS standard, P7 is equivalent to P4 level, P9 is equivalent to P2 level.
Angular Contact Ball Bearing Application:
Single row angular contact ball bearings: machine tool spindle, high frequency motor, flammable turbine, centrifuge, small car front wheel, differential gear shaft, pressurized pump, drilling platform, food machinery, dividing head, welding machine, low noise cooling tower, electromechanical equipment, coating equipment, machine bed slots plate, arc welder
Double row angle contact ball bearings: oil pump, roots blower, air compressor, various kinds of transmission, fuel injection pump, printing machinery, planetary reducer, extraction equipment, cycloid reducer, food packaging machinery, electric welding machine, electric soldering iron, square box, gravity type spray gun, stripper, semi axle, inspection analysis equipment, fine chemical equipment. Angular Contact Ball Bearing 15mm x 32mm x9mm
The angular contact ball bearing lock is on the outer ring. Generally, the inner and outer rings cannot be separated, and can bear the combined load of radial and axial directions and the axial load in one direction. The ability to withstand axial loads is determined by the contact angle, and the greater the contact angle, the higher his load capacity. This type of bearing limits the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction.
It can be divided into single row angular contact ball bearings and double row angular contact ball bearings. There are also universal matching bearings. It is specially machined to allow the bearings to be mounted close to each other. Any combination can achieve a defined internal clearance or pre-tension, and the average load distribution, without the use of gaskets or similar devices.
