Project profile:
Qingdao Bay Bridge, locating in Qingdao main urban zone, stretches from Yangjia Qun entrance of National Expressway 308 to the western Huandao red cliff, spanning across the sea area of Jiaozhou Gulf. The whole length of phase I project is 28.05 km, and phase II project is 12.25 km, with sea-crossing distance of 25.17 km. The main bridge is 35m wide and has six lanes in two-way direction. Designed driving speed is 80km/h. Estimated investiment of the project is around RMB 9.04 billion.

Geology situation: silty clay, silty lime rock stratum.

Construction situation: Diameter of steel pipe sheet is 820mm, and driving depth is 15m-23m
