APPLICATION:
TDY series vertical double casing pump is suitable for the transportation of clean or slightly polluted, neutral or corrosive liquid with low or high temperature, especially for the transportation light hydrocarbon, liquefied gas or condensation water with low saturated vapor pressure under low temperature conditions, or working condition which requires low NPSHr

CONSTRUCTION
TDY series double casing pump employs multi-stage, radially split centrifugal pump as its internal part, external part is barrel type and only bear suction pressure. The depth of pump insertion is adjusted by NPSHa required by user;
Impeller is designed to be single-suction, radially set-up, and assembled with diffuser. First stage impeller diffuser is designed for low NPSHr operation and improved suction ability. Optional inducer is available upon user’s request for the prevention of cavitation damage.
Suction and discharge nozzles are symmetrically arranged on installation base plate, other arrangements are available as user’s request. Nozzle directions are horizontal suction and horizontal discharge. GB standard for flanges is employed on all TDY series pumps, other flange standards are available upon user’s request.
SHAFT SEALING
The shaft sealing of TDY series double casing pump can be configured as single mechanical seal, pressurized double mechanical seal or double mechanical seal.
Cooling, flushing and sealing liquid systems will be arrange as per API 682 standard.
BEARING AND BALANCING DEVICE.
The angular contact ball bearing within bearing bracket is lubricated by lubricating oil and is manufactured with self-lubricating system. The radial sliding bearing near suction nozzle is lubricated with media. Middle radial sliding bearing will be employed when the insertion depth of pump exceeded a certain value, this bearing will be set-up with self-lubricating pipes.
Angular ball bearing will compensate limited axial thrust. Balancing device will be employed when the differential pressure is high, angular ball bearing will also compensate limited axial thrust under this mode.
POWER TRANSMISSION
Pump is driven by motor through flexible coupling connection

Pump is designed as per API610 standard 8th edition, pump type is VS7
Material fully comply with API610 standard 8th eidtion,
Mechanical seal as per API 682 standard, external barrel type casing as per ASME V3 standard.
