GENERAL DESCRIPTION
VUL series centrifugal pump is single-stage,single-suction,radially split long axis submersible pump, pump shaft is supported by sliding bearing which are located in pump casing and sliding bearing bracket. T he insertion depth of this series of pump is no more than 5.5 meters, hydraulic performance range covers any capacity upto 400 m3/h, any head upto 100m, suitable for the transportation of clean or contaminative liquid media.
Pump supporting parts, bearing and shaft are manufactured according to standardized parts principles therefore there parts are suitable for multiple hydraulic model design, high commonality.
Rigid axle design provided smooth operation for pump, the critical rotary speed of VUL series pumps are above pump operation speed therefore allows the pump to operate under severe working conditions.
Pump casing is radially split designed, pump with nominal flange diameter greater than 80mm are designed as double volute casing structure to reduce the radial thrust and vibration caused by hydraulic power.
CONSTRUCTION
1. Shaft connecting structure is safe and reliable
2. Rotor is supported by thrust bearing and sliding bearing, axially adjustable.
3. Grease lubricated antifriction bearing is assembled to base plate, sliding bearing was adopted self lubrication or external lubrication.
4. Separate discharge pipe provides that no pressurized media leakage along shaft, therefore shaft sealing is not necessary if liquid is not highly volatile
5. The impeller and pump casing parts are submersed underwater, impeller is already immerged in pumped liquid, venting and starting up problem is prevented.
6. High intensity rigid shaft provides smooth and reliable operation of pump. Normal pump operating speed is lower than first critical rotary speed.
7. Optional suction pipe for extended insertion depth (please refer to sectional drawing)
