Description:

Tungsten carbide powder, chemical formula is WC, and which is the main raw material for producing
cemented carbide, its hardness is close to diamond. It obtains highly stable chemical property, good
electrical and thermal conductivity. melting point: 2870℃, boiling point: 6000℃, relative density: 15.63
(18℃). Tungsten carbide is insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid, while it can dissolves in
nitric & hydrofluoric mixed acid.

Our tungsten carbide powder is made of tungsten powder which experiences carbonization process
which comprises mixing of the respective tungsten powder of desired particle size with high purity carbon
(lamp black or graphite) and reacting at temperatures between 1,300 to 1,600°C in hydrogen atmosphere.

Due to the properties of high hardness and high strength, tungsten carbide powder is used as a material
for tungsten carbide rods, tungsten carbide bars and other tungsten carbide products.
