Description:

Our tungsten carbide powder is made of tungsten powder which experiences carbonization process.
Tungsten carbide (WC) is an inorganic chemical compound (specifically carbide) containing equal parts of tungsten and carbon atoms.

Characteristics: Tungsten carbide is insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid, while it can
dissolves in nitric & hydrofluoric mixed acid. Pure tungsten carbide phase is original brittle, but if blended with certain amount of titanium, cobalt or other metals, toughness will relatively increase. Tungsten
carbide is approximately three times stiffer than steel.

Tungsten carbide powder (WC) is the main raw material for producing cemented carbide, then it can be
processed into carbide tools, compared to high speed steel tools, carbide tools can withstand higher temperature.
