3. Electric
3.1 Supply and distribute electricity
The voltage level in Electric equipment of pure water station is 380/220VAC(alternating current), we equip low voltage distribution cabinet, which can provide pure water technology system power equipment with electricity.
I. Brief introduction of technological system
This system has two parts, they are raw water pretreatment, pure water preperation, their fucntions are as follows:
1.1 RO equipment pretreatment
Prevent membrane surface scaling (cakcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, strontium sulfate,
Calcium fluoride,silica, iron and aluminium oxides etc.)
Prevent colloidal substances and suspended solids and particles blocking
Prevent organic substances blocking
Prevent microorganism blocking
Prevent membrane from damage of oxidizing substances
Guarantee water supply flow and pressure stable of RO equipment
Guarantee stable operation and long service life of reverse osmosis equipment
1.2 Introductions of each part of reverse osmosis pure water equipment
1. Multi-media filter
Because raw water of the system is tap water which has a lot of glues and suspended substances, wu have to install the multi-media filter, which is full of filtrion materials of the best efficiency, which can filtrate raw water, in order to make the production water quality conform to the requirements of SDI ≤4.
Multi-media filter — the time of backflushing is up to the operation time parameters, which can control the backflushing circle automatically; it is also operated by human interference, when the feedwater pressure and effluent pressure of filter can reach 0.8-1.0 kilogram-force/cm2, it can be operated by human interference to have the backflushing.
2. Active carbon filter
Active carbon filter is full of special active carbon, which has the strong adsorption ability, which can adsorb the organic substances, heavy metal, residual chlorine, prevent reverse osmosis membrane from pollution of organic substances, prevent reverse osmosis membrane from oxidization of residual chlorine, so as to prolong the service life of reverse osmosis membrane.
3. Water softner
Effects: softening is the precess of removing the hardness in the water. This equipment is full of 001*7 strong-acid sodium ion exchange resin, we use sodium ions to replace the calcium and magnesium ions of raw water, make the residual hardness of raw water is less than 0.03mmol/L. The purpose of softening is to prevent the reverse osmosis membrane surface from scaling, in order to prolong the service life and treatment efficiency of reverse osmosis.
Model selection: water softener is the glass fiber reinforced plastic container, dimension:φ200 * 1400 mm. Production water yield: 1-1.5m3.
Contrl: the control system adopts American auotomatic contrl valve. According to the settled time, the controller can regenerate resin automatically, to complete adsorbing salts, backwashing, direct flushing, water injection.
4. Microfilter(safeguard filter)
In order to prevent the particles entering into the high-pressure pump and RO components, we specially installed the safeguard filter, which can prolong the cleaning cycle and service life of reverse osmosis membrane units effectively.
The case of safeguard filter is made of stainless steel, whose inner aperture is 5μm filter element, this kind of element has the high precision, which will prolong the service life of reverse osmosis membrane, when the pressure difference of inlet and outlet pressure is 1kg/cm2, we need to change the filter element, the filter structure can satisfy the requirements of fast replacement of filter element.
1.3 Reverse osmosis pure water equipment
Reverse osmosis is a backward transfer of osmosis, it is also a way to separate the hydrone and dissolved ions in the water, under the push of pressure and with the help of selective interception of semi-permeable membrane, it has been widely used in purification and concentration of liquid, the most common application is used in water treatment, we use the revrese osmosis technology to remove the impurities in raw water, such as inorganic ions, bacteria, viruses, organic substances and glues etc, in order to get high quality pure water. Reverse osmosis is the core part of water treatment system, the water after reverse osmosis treatment can remove the majority of ions (electric conductivity), organic substances, microsubstances, bacteria, viruses.
1.3.1 High-pressure pump
According to the effluent yield of reverse osmosis equipment, we choose the vertical multistage high pump. This water pump is made of stainless steel, no neen of petrol filling and maintenance, its features are small working area, high efficiency, low noise and so on. Discharge head is 100m.
1.3.2 Model selection of reverse osmosis equipment
We choose the ESPA reverse osmosis membrane component from American HY company which takes the lead to promote. It has the advantages of large flux, super low operation pressure, wider range of water quality, good stability, slow rate of decay, long service life. It also has the larger production water flux, and the 96% desalinization of sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride. This system is the component equipment, every unit can operate independently, electric conductivity of first-stage reverse osmosis system production water <20 μs/cm, pure water storage tank is made of closed 304L stainless steel, storage capacity is 0.5m3. When we select the pipe materials of pure water equipment and the valves’ materials, we should choose the materials which can ensure the water purity. When we choose pipe materials and valves, we should pay first attention to no educt, as the system needs the higher purification system for output, after we take it into account seriously, and combine the the actual requirements and past similar engineer experience, we decide to use high quality UPVC pipeline, UPVC valves or 304L materials.
1.3.3 The key design concept and notes of reverse osmosis pure water equipment
1.Adopt import high quality and famous brands to ensure the system operated stably.
2. The choice of equipment, pipe materials, valve materials, they will ensure the water purity.
3.When we connect the pipeline, we should avoid using screw threads; when we use flange to connect, we should select EPDM, FPM materials as shims.
4. The equipment is including carriage equipments, pressure container and equipment supports. All carriages are made of stainless steel or Q235A steel, they are will be stable and delicate. All the metal cases of equipment and carriages are antiseptic with three-layer epoxy resin paint.
Notes: if the inlet pressure of pretreatment is defficient, we also need to install raw water tank→raw water pump
Effects: overcome the instability of pipe network water supply, to ensure the water supply of whole pretreatment system continuous; meanwhile we also provide the equipment with stable support in the long term.
Water tank control: water tank is equiped with high water level ball float valve and low water level liquid level switch. It has the advantages of high reliability, simple structure, convenient installation and so on. When water level is high, close the ball float valve, stop feedwater supply. When water level is low, open high water level ball float valve, then inject water into water tank. Meanwhile, when the low water level liquid level is off, booster pressure pump will stop working.
II. System control and electrics
(1) Summary of control system
1. The control object is switching value in the system, the control object related expect for switch valve, the main part is the control of pump equipment. That is to say, switch value is the main part in the sytem, this system has conversion function between automatic control and manual operation.
2. Systematic control cabinet uses the electrical conponents from import or joint venture manufacturer, to assist systematic announciator to finish the above functions.
Automatic pretection and measurement meter of reverse osmosis
Chain controls of raw water booster pressure pump and raw water pressure,when raw water pressure is lower than the pre-set value, the equipment will be forced to stop.
There is a electric conductivity measurement meter in the reverse osmosis water production pipe, it will moniter the desalinization of reverse osmosis immediately.
There is a pressure protection switch in the reverse osmosis high pressure pump, when the pressure is lower than 0.1-0.15MPA, the high pressure pump will stop and give an alarm.
3.The system regards raw water pipeline pump and finished-product water tank liquid level as the operation point, when open the reverse osmosis system, automatic valve before safeguard filter will open, raw water pump will open, automatic valve of strong water will flush reverse osmosis 3-15min ( adjustable), delay to open high pressure pump automatically, reverse osmosis equipment will be put into use.
4. Control of double media and active carbon filter
By the ontic valve switch of control device equipment to operate, backwash, direct-wash, prepare and so on. The circle of backwashing is up to the accumulated operation time. In addition, the inlet and outlet of filter are installed pressure meters respectively. We can choose manual operation in the field.
5. Protection of RO start & stop
When stop reverse osmosis, open the drain valve and water production valve of strong water end, delay the operation of pretreatment for a little while, use the raw water of pretreatment to flush RO membrane components about 5 min automatically, in order to prevent RO membrane surface from scaling of high salty water of strong water, affect the membrane performance, then stop flushing automatically. If the system has been stop for a long time, after flush, we should inject protecting liquid.
III. Technological precess of reverse osmosis pure water system
Source water → multi-media filter → active carbon filter → automatic softening device →5μm safeguard filter → high pressure pump → one-stage reverse osmosis equipment → terminal filter → pure water storage water tank
