Due to the need of periodic regeneration, and using a large amount of chemicals(acid-base) and pure water on the course of regeneration, which can result in the environmental pollution, as a result, we have to develop non-acid-base ultrapure water system. Just because traditional ion exchange can’t meet the requirements of modern industry and environtental protection, we make the combination of membrane, resin and electrochemical principle together, which is an EDI technology, it is a revolution of water treatment technology. We use the electricity to make the regeneration of ion exchange resin come true, without acid-base, thus it will satisfy the requirements of world environmental protection. Since 1986, industrialize the EDI membrane pack, thousands of EDI system have been installed in the world, we have developed vigorously in pharmacy, semi-conductor, electricity and surface polishing etc, meanwhile, we also have widely used EDI system in the field of waste water treatment equipment, beverage and microorganism etc. EDI operating principle: EDI device is to put the ion exchange resin between anion and cation membrane, which forms EDI unit. EDI technology has been widely accepted by pharmacy industry, microelectronics industry, electricity generation industry and laboratory. It also has spread widely over surface cleaning, surface coating, electrolytic industry and chemical industry. EDI device is put after the RO system, it is the replacement of traditional mixed ion exchange technology (MB-DI), this EDI technology can produce stable deionized water.
