Description

AA/AMPS Copolymer (similar to Acumer 2000) is the copolymer of Acrylic Acid and 2-Acrylanmido-2- Methylpropane Sulfonic Acid (AMPS). Always used as a kind of high performance stabilizer for phosphate, it is also a very effective dispersant in circulating cooling water system.

AA/AMPS Copolymer is used as dispersant for inorganic scale; stabilizer of Calcium phosphate, it has a good scale inhibition on inorganic scale against critical state when combined with organic phosphate. It can decompose the Calcium Phosphate formed during the degradation of organic phosphonates by any kinds of oxidative bactericide such as chlorine.

Character

1) AA/AMPS can be used as excellent dispersant for inorganic particulates & Stabilizers for scale inhibitors of organic phosphonate. No corrosion can be caused when applied in circulating water.

Advantages

Used in cooling water to keep the heat exchanger clean, improving the service life of heat exchanger and enhance the concentration ratio of circulating water. AA/AMPS can be configured, stored and used in wide range of temperature and pH value. Easily monitor, easily control the dosage. To reduce heat exchanger down-time and maintenance time, provide high heat transfer rate, prolong the service life of the equipment; improve the concentration ratio and utilization of circulating water.
 

Applications 

1) Industrial circulating water: Scale inhibition in open recirculating cooling circuits for CaCO3 scale.

2) AA/AMPS Copolymer also demonstrates excellent dispersion of insoluble Zinc Salt.

Package: Freezing or long term cold storage of AA/AMPS Copolymer may cause some separation of the components. Although product performance is not impaired as long as the whole container is heated and well mixed, it is recommended to keep AA/AMPS Copolymer
from freezing.

Storage:Normally in 200L plastic drum, IBC(1000L) can be used as required. Storage for one year in room shady and dry place.
