The   polyolefin adhensive tape coating system consists following:

 

1. A liquid adhesive primer layer

2.An inner-layer polyolefin tape for corrosion protection

3.An outer-layer polyolefin tape for mechanical protection

 

The primer shall be liquid adhesive,the inner-layer tape and outer-layer tape shall be laminated polyethylene (low-density) ,backed self adhesive,rubberized,bitumastic compund tape, and made of prefabricated tapes in rolls.

 

The polyolefin   Inner tape and  polyolefin  outer tape is Polythene butyl rubber tape. It consist of  two layers,butyl rubber adhesive layer and the special blend of stabilized polyethylene film backing layer.

 

Thickness shall be a minimum of 0.30 mm.
