Heating and cooling tank (also called aging tank) is featured with energy saving, noise reduction, corrosion resistance, strong production capacity,
and easy to clean. It is widely used in the dairy industry, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, beverage and other industrial sectors, as the heating, cooling, insulation, sterilization tank or storage of slurry. It is a necessary equipment, especially for milk pasteurization and insulation. It is an essential equipment for ice cream and yogurt production line.
Structure

The equipment consists of inner container, jacket, insulation layer, the outer shell, reducer, stirring blade, a thermometer and other components.
Installation
Adjust the feet of the equipment till the horizontal line is perpendicular to reducer and then install each pipe. In work, please pay attention that mixing paddle should rotate in clockwise way and should not reverse.
Use and maintenance
- Note: Before the equipment is used, clean the reservoir with light hot water and then sterilize with steam. Feed slurry material to the tank through material pipe on the tank cover, or open the tank cover to pour. The tank should not be filled too full to avoid splashing to outside in mixing, leading to dirty environment or material loss.
- Heating method: In heating, refrigerant inlet pipe valve must be turned off and remaining refrigerant in jacket must be exhausted, and then feed material, start agitator, and then open the steam valve to reach the desired temperature. And then turn off the steam valve first, and 2 to 3 minutes later, turn off the agitator
- Cooling method: Close steam valve, exhaust all the remaining steam condensate in jacket, and then open the refrigerant valve at the bottom so that the refrigerant can go through the jacket, to lower the temperature of the materials in the tank.
- Thermal insulation: According to the desired temperature, start agitator, high-speed valves, and maintain the temperature (pay attention to the thermometer) in order to achieve the purpose of insulation.
- Cleaning: After processing is finished, release the remaining condensate in tank jacket and then rinse with warm water as soon as possible. Brush off the material stuck to the tank wall and then completely clean the inner wall with 40℃- 50℃ alkaline solution and then rinse with water. Next time when you use it, rinse with hot water or steam (90℃) or higher temperature, keep for 2 to 3 minutes for disinfection.
- Maintenance: Always pay attention to the work of the entire equipment and reducer. In case of insufficient lubricant at reducer, add lubricant immediately and change lubricant once half a year (40 # lubricant). When the tank is not in use, be sure to rinse the jacket with warm water jacket to avoid salt corrosion. Often scrub the cylinder to keep the outside clean and inner container bright to achieve the purpose of durableness .
