Product Description
Sterilization autoclave is also called sterilizer or sterilization tank.
Classification:
There are four types of retort by control mode :
1. Manual control type: All valves and pumps are controlled by hand manually, including water, heating, cooling, insulation, and other processes.
2. Electrical semi-automatic control type: Pressure is controlled by pressure gauge at pressure points; temperature is controlled by temperature sensor (pt100) and imported temperature control instrument (precision ± 1 ℃); and the cooling process is done by manual operation.
3. Computerized semi-automatic type: The pressure sensor and temperature signals are collected for processing by PLC and text display; sterilization process can be stored; control precision is high up to ± 0.3 ℃.
4. Automatic computerized type: The whole process is controlled by PLC and touch screen. Sterilization process can be stored; the operator can simply press start button; automatic alarm is given after sterilization is completed; temperature control precision is up to ± 0.1 ℃.
There are three types by sterilization methods.
1. Hot water circulation type sterilization: sterilization pot and food are all soaked in hot water during sterilization process. In this way heat is distributed more evenly.
2. Steam sterilization: After the food is poured to the tank, add directly steam to raise temperature. As there is the presence of cool air in the sterilization process, this approach is not the best choice due to uneven heat distribution.
3. Watering spray sterilization: This method is to use a nozzle or sprinkler pipe installed inside the inner wall or the top of the tank to spray hot water onto food. In the sterilization process, a mist of wavy hot water is sprayed to the surface of the food, so temperature uniformity is good with no dead corners, but also rapid heating or cooling can be achieved. It can comprehensively, rapidly and stably sterilize the food inside the tank, especially fit for the sterilization of soft packaged food.

3. Two parallel pots sterilization pot
4. Vertical retorts
5. Electric & steam dual-use sterilization pot
6. Rotary retorts

1. Fully stainless steel
2. Semi-steel
3. Carbon steel

Model selection principles:
1. choose from temperature control precision and uniformity of heat distribution. If a product has very strict temperature requirements, in particular products for export, which require very uniform heat distribution, it should better to select computerized automatic sterilization pot. Computerized semi-automatic retort has same temperature control, pressure control as automatic computerized type, but the price is only 1/3 of fully automatic computerized one. For general requirements you can choose electrical semi-automatic retorts. Manual retort sterilization is not easy to operate, and temperature and pressure control can not be precise. Cans (bags) expansion and breaking rate is high.
2. If a product is packaged with carbonated air and package appearance should be strictly nice, you should choose fully computerized or computerized semi-automatic sterilization pot.
3. If a product is packed in glass bottles or tin cans, considering the heating and cooling speed must be controlled, try not to select double layers retorts as much as possible.
4. If considering from energy saving, choose a double sterilization pot, which is characterized by a hot water tank on the upper part and a treating tank on the lower part. Hot water is re-used and can save a lot of steam, suitable for food production enterprises with a production capacity of more than 10 tons per day .
5. If production capacity is small or there is no boiler, you might consider using electric steaming dual-use sterilization pot. The principle is electrical heating to generate steam by upper tank and sterilization is done by lower tank.
6. If a product viscosity is very high and products needs to be rotated in the sterilization process, you should choose rotary retorts.
