The disc screen consists of rotating discs for separating wastes through the clearance between the discs depending upon the size and the weight of the waste while the wastes move on the rotation discs.

 

15 to 20 discs are mounted on a long shaft depending on the working width of the screen. And the number of the shafts are depending on the capacity  of the screen. These shafts simultaneously rotate by the driving force of the motor.

The screen holes of other size screens are easily clogged by wet wastes due to moisture. The disc screen minimizes the clogging by the rotation movements of the discs.

 

The disc screen consists of the rotating discs for separating wastes depending on the size and weight, the blower for separating combustible wastes, and the contaminant discharge system for glass pieces and small wastes, The rotation discs are made in various configurations such as pentagonal, octagonal, and star shapes.
