YIMING Roll to Roll UV casting and curing system, is a decorative process in which holographic effects are applied directly to printed film or paper rolls.

The technology makes use of a holographic film, which, combined with UV varnish, "casts" a holographic effect into the UV varnish on the printed Substrates. Through impression cylinder and dry by UV light. Finally, the film is removed leaving a pure, crisp holographic image on the substrates.UV Casting films are available in a variety of diffraction patterns, similar to hot foils, but can be reused for many time under skilled operation. Holographic feature can be done as spot or overall. They can also be customized with a proprietary design for brand identity and security.

What is UV casting and curing?

Also known as Cast & Cure, it’s a kind of microembossing technology, which can creates rich, high gloss holographic effects on a variety of substrates in both sheet fed and web. Casting film is embossed BOPP Film, which already have holographic feature. When this film nip with base substrates, the holographic construction on BOPP will be embossed into UV lacquer on the surface of base substrates. Said it in a easy way, BOPP film is more or less like die head in this process, so this film can be reused several times After cure system, the holographic feature will be stable on the surface of base substrates. UV Casting films are available in a variety of diffraction patterns, similar to hot foils.
