Procedures of XBM Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant:

Step 1——Crushing (Put the ingredients broken)

As the volume of crude ore produced is too large, it is necessary to crushing the mined ore. In this process, send the crude ore into the PE Jaw Crusher as primary crushing firstly, the crushed product particle size will reached 100~300mm;and then re-crushing the ore by PEX Jaw Crusher or Impact Crusher. In general, the system requirements of the ore particle size for general 12mm------18mm.

Step 2——Grinding and Classifing

The ball mill (wet & dry) is a key equipment in grinding progress. There are two kinds of ball mills, grate type and overfall type due to different ways of discharging material.

Ball mill machine is always equip with spiral classifer to make a closed cycle, with spiral classifier, the big size particle back to ball mill machine for regrinding, the suitable size come to next processing stage.

Step 3——Magnetic Separation (Primary-Selection-Scavenging)

The Magnetic Separators are available in cyclic design with process vessel diameters smaller than 3mm. Wet Magnetic Separator is one kind of efficient equipment for processing fine, feebly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, limonite, wolfram, ilmenite, and tantalum-niobium, etc. 

Magnetic separator is necessary equipment in iron ore beneficiation plant. Magnetic separators are often used for industrial purposes such as recycling and manufacturing.

Step 4——Gravity Separation (Select fine ore powder)

This device is suitable for sorting grain size 0.3 – 0.02 mm fines iron ore , ilmenite , chromite , pyrite , zircon , rutile , monazite, phosphorous ore, tungsten ore, tin , ore of tantalum , niobium ore, as well as differences in the proportion of other non-ferrous metals, rare metals and non-metallic mineral body.

Step 5——Dehydration (Take off water in the ore)

Due to various constraints, after the front of several processes , there are always some residual moisture in the ore powder, then we need to pick out concentrate dehydration, to meet the requirements of transportation and smelting.
