Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound, it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245° C and boiling point 1800° C in normal atmospheric pressure. 

Solubility in water, reacts with moist gas and water.

1. Si and Ca can be controlled absolutely. 

2. Chalking resistance. 

3. Slightly less content of other impurities such as C, S, P, Al 

4. Not easy to be deliquesced

1). Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal doxidizer and desulfurater. 

2). SiCa is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless. 

3). SiCa is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy. 

4). Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.
