Tips of operation and maintenance for industrial water chillers
---Regular inspection and maintenance for water chillers could improve their refrigeration efficiency and extend their service
lifetime.
I. Monthly maintenance
1.Check the power supply against abnormal conditions and phase failure.
2.Inspect and record the operating current.
3.Meter and record the high and low pressure and check whether the chilled temperature is normal.
4.Check the interlocking controlling electric circuits against looseness and aging.
5.Check whether the oil level and oil temperature is normal.
6.Check compressors against abnormal sound and abnormal vibration.
7.Make a test run for the refrigerant circuit.
8.Perform a test run for the whole chiller unit.
II. Yearly maintenance
1.Clean the condenser (clean it up when running for six months);
2.Check against the cooling oil and lubricants, and replace and replenish it when necessary.
3.Check and maintain the electric circuits of the main machine.
4.Perform the insulation test for the compressor motor wiring coils.
5.Check the dry-filter whether it is normal and without clogging, and replace it when necessary.
6.Check against the amount of the refrigerant, and supplement it when necessary.
7.Check and correct the high and low pressure switch.
8.Check and correct the thermostat.
9.Perform the test run and total correction, check against the degree of the superheat and the parts whether it’s of abnormal
sounds.
