Tai Ping Hou Kui

Tai Ping Hou Kui has been cultivated in the region of Huangshan (Anhui Province) since the Ming dynasty and harvested exclusively for emperors under the Qing dynasty. It  was awarded the title “ King of Tea” at the 2004 China Tea Exhibition.

 

Tai Ping Hou Kui grows at altitudes of up to 700 meters in Huangshan district (the old Taiping country) in the north foot of Huangshan Mountain. It has a deep green color and a straight shape with slightly pointed ends. Possessing an aroma of orchid blossoms, its beverage is clear green and purely bright, and the landing leaves are thick and soft.

 

You may brew the Tai Ping Hou Kui with boiled water in the leisure time. Then a fully fresh taste goes through the throat with fragrance lingering in the mouth and a rich mellow taste left after drinking. What an enjoyment in life it would be to drink such kind of tea!
