Part One : Ball Mill Working Principle
The ball mill is horizontal cylindrical rotation device , driving by brim gearwhell.There are two charmbers and grid materials goes into the first charmber through the feeding inlet. Inside the first charmber , there are stage lines and ripple liners as well as steel balls with various kinds. The shell rotates which generates eccentricity . This force brings ball to a certain hight and then balls with various drop down by gravity .
The impact is the grinding force to the material . After the primary grinding in the first charmber material goes into the second charmber segregate screen.In the second charmber , there are flat liners and steel balls , after the secondary grinding , materials is discharged through the discharging screen.
Part Two :Usages of ball mill
Ball mills are cylindrical and are used to grind or mix ores,chemicals , ceramic raw materials and paints . They are used extensively in Mechanical alloying process in which they are not only used for grinding ,but for cold welding as well , with the purpose of groducting alloys from powders.
