Working principle

Ball mills work by rotating around a horizontal axis, partically filled with the material to be grinded plus the griding medium.

The raw material to be processed and the grinding medium will be lifted to a certain higher place by the force of centrifugal force and the friction force when the mill moves and then fallen down to the bottom because of the gravity in a parabolic path. This action will be repeat again and again .By doing so, the material to be processed can be crushed and grinding into fine aggregate. In this process , the raw material will be grinded by itself ,bucause it can rolling and grinding, when the mill workes.

 

Explain in details

The grinding effect and the moving state of raw material is determined by the rotation speed of the ball mill. When the rotation speed is at a low frequency, the material and the grinding medium will be lefted at a very low height ( compared with a high frequency ).Make it clear , in this state , the material will backfall and little crushing force will be engended . Just Due to this reason , the Discharge size is bigger.
