Overflow Mine Ball Miller Working Theory

The main body of the overflow mine ball miller is a low-speed rotary cylinder mounted on two large bearings horizontally. The ball miller’s rotary part is driven at reducing speed by motor through speed reducer and gear weheel or by low-speed synchronous motor through gearwheel. Inside the cylinder feed proper grinding medium-steel balls. The medium will be lifted to certain height under the action of centrifugal force and friction and drop or fall. The material to grind is fed to the cylinder in succession and crushed by grinding medium, then discharged through overflow and continual feeding force, and enter the next procedure.

All the raw materials are crushed with the help of Jaw Crusher if the ore contain lumps. The feeding size for the ball miller should be less than 25 mm.The belt conveyor discharge the material in to the powder making machine. There are one or more chambers in the Mill. The chambers are filled with grinding Media ( balls & Cylpebs).The ore powder is discharged from the mill to the elevator to fill it in the Storage Silo.
