Laser is an excellent directional monochromatic coherent light. Using a laser to efficiently transmit information, called laser communications.
Laser communication system composed of devices including sending and receiving two parts. The main transmission section laser, light modulator and an optical transmitting antenna. Receiving part includes an optical reception antenna, optical filter, optical detector. The information to be transmitted to the optical modulator connected to the laser, the light modulator modulating the laser on the information, sent by the optical transmitting antenna. At the receiving end, the optical signal receiving antenna receives the laser down to the light detector, the laser light detector signal into electrical signals, amplified, demodulated into the original information.
The demonstrator explained the structure of the easiest laser communication principle: laser emission radiation in a small mirror affixed on the tuning fork, tuning fork vibrating vocal percussion, the laser light reflected back on the included tuning fork vibration and sound information; after receiving and decoding, IC circuit restore the sound vibration of the tuning fork.
