The Structure of Disk Tailing Reclaim Machine
Disk type tailings reclaim machines are composed of five parts: main machines, unloading devices, set mine launders, launders and body frames. Their working principle is as follows: the main machine’s disk is installed in the launder. When the mine slurry flows from one end of the launder, and flows through the gap between disks, magnetic minerals in the slurry are adsorbed on the surface of the disk, and the remaining non-magnetic slurry flows out from the other end. When the main machine’s disk rotates, the magnetic minerals adsorbed on the disk surface are taken out from the launder. When entering the unloading area, the magnetic minerals are brought to set mine launder by the mine unloading device inserted between the disk slots and are collected and output by the set mine launder.
Characteristics of the WK Disk Tailings Reclaim Machine
- Magnetic field: Space between the disk and magnetic pole is small and there is no-zero magnetic field between the disk and the disk.
- Unloading: Unloading is the non-contact forced discharge. The surface of the disk has a layer of protective powder layer and no friction. The service life of medium and small machines is 8-10 times of the conventional models’, and also increases the grade of magnetic minerals reclaims.
- Large processing capacity: This machine is specially designed for tailings reclaim. It has characteristics of processing large flow and low grade tailings. Its processing capacity is several even tens of times of the existing cylinder type magnetic separator.
- High reclaiming rate: All the material through the space of the disks is subjected to a magnetic field and magnetic minerals are fully retrieved with high recovery rate.
- Saving water: Because of the special design of the magnetic field, magnetic minerals have amount of water. The unloaded minerals are flowage, so no water or only little water is needed.
- Saving electricity: The processing capacity of a disk tailings reclaim machine is several and even tens of times of a common machine. The installed capacity is only a few thousand watts, so the effect of power saving is obvious.
