QDE-N model spring applied air release caliper disc brake is a kind of normal braking air disc brake, it is a high torque air brake. This brake torque force calculates according to the braking disc size, it is in direct proportion to braking disc diameter. As the development of industry market, high torque brake is adopted by all kinds of machinery more and more. Air caliper disc brake as a kind of air brake, it is accepted for a long time, taking the air pressure as working resource. 

This friction type brake can be work for high speed rotating clamp, so friction pads will be worn for continous usage. One piece of new friction pad thickness is 13mm, the max total abrasion of two pieces of friction pads is 12mm.

This type of QQD-N brake is controlled by springs, so braking force is controlled by springs quantity. As usually, there are 12 pieces of springs, if you want to reduce braking force, the spring quantity can be reduce to 6 pieces or 8 pieces or 10 pieces as need.
