Air shaft clutch and brake combined unit is also a type of frictionclutch brake group. HACB model clutch and brake combination, it is the connect of pneumatic clutch NAC and pneumatic brake NAB. For this unit, HACB only can worked as a clutch or brake in separately, not at the same time. Because there are two air chambers of this transmission part, and air input only from one route, so it just can be as clutch or brake needed.
HACB model air shaft clutch and brake unit is fast, it is suitable for clutch and brake independently. It has three kinds of working status:
1. Clutch linked status
Supplying air pressure to clutch, clutch linked, exhausting air pressure to brake, brake released, power input via driving disc and output via shaft.
2. Brake braked status
Supplying air pressure to clutch and brake, clutch linked and brake braked, so as to brake load end of prevent load end from rotating.
3. Idle status
Exhausting air pressure to clutch and brake, clutch and brake released, shaft and load end run against resistance by inertia until stop.
