Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is an engineered wood product that uses multiply layers of thin wood assembled with adhesives under heat and pressure. In overseas countries, LVL is widely used in building structure and engineering that requires higher bending stress than traditional wood. Pallet Manufactures apply this LVL as material to produce LVL pallet and packaging due to its strength characteristics.LVL is different from plywood. It has no layers of cross grain as the highest bending strength parallel to the grain is required.
Advantages of LVL as material for to produce LVL pallet and packaging
No IPPC certification stamp is required. (ISPM 15 exemption)
Strong, durable and over 30% higher load bearing capacity than traditional wood.
Sufficient supply of raw materials to produce LVL due to rotating planted poplar
Ability to produce up to 9300mm in length,
No bark attached.
No mold.
Lifetime of LVL is longer than wood.
LVL moisture:14-18% - Contact InfoSee detail
