HG-UHZ magnetic level gauge is a kind of liquid level measurement device designed and developed as per the principles of magnetic coupling & Archimedes (buoyancy). On this basis, expanding its scope to extend a variety of types of products, we give it more practical functions at the same time of detecting level.

HG-UHZ magnetic level gauge has a chamber (called main body tube or casing) for accommodating the float. This chamber forms a communicating vessel with container by means of flanges or other interfaces;

Thus the liquid level in the chamber and the liquid level in the container are at the same height. So, the float in the chamber will rise and fall with the rise and fall of liquid level in the container; at this time, we still cannot see liquid level. So, we install a turned column indicator outside of the chamber. Because we installed magnetic steel at the junction of float rise and fall when manufacturing the float, when the indicator and float rise and fall along with liquid level, its magnet is passed on to indicator through casing and push magnetic turned column rotate 180 °. Because magnetic turned column is a cylinder combined by red and white semi-cylinder, after rotating 180 ° color will changes (red below liquid level while white above level), and the junction is height of liquid level.  

For the magnetic level gauge with transmitter (remote transmission), the working principle of transmitter part (electrical part) is to use a magnetic float role in reed switch and cause the number of resistance which is connected to circuit change, thus make sensor part generate resistance signal which is in corresponding to liquid level change. Through the signal converter, you can convert resistance signal to 4 ~ 20mA current signal. This level gauge has no capacitors, inductors or other energy storage components. HART communication protocol or RS485 communication is available.
