Pego Electronics (Yi Chun) Company Limited
1. Introduction
The residual voltage tester is designed according IEC60601-1:1988 clause 15 and IEC60335-1:2016 clause 22.5. The equipment has a high enough test impedance, it uses the method of simulating the disconnection of the plug to disconnect the appliance from the supply mains at the instant of voltage peak. It is used for the residual voltage test of electrical appliance like medical equipment and household appliances.
Working principle
The appliance is supplied at rated voltage, any switch is then placed in the off position and the appliance is disconnected from the supply mains at the instant of voltage peak, 1s after disconnection, the voltage between the pins of the plug is measured with an instrument that does not appreciably affect the value to be measured, the voltage shall not exceed 34V as per IEC60335-1 and 60V as per IEC60601-1.
2. Features
1). The test is performed at the voltage peak to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the test data.
2). Test impedance is greater or equal to 1000MΩ, Meet the impedance requirements of the residual voltage and energy test between L-E poles and reachable capacitors.
3). The equipment can test: a. residual voltage between pins. b. residual voltage between each pin and enclosure. c. residual voltage of accessible parts and energy.
4). Auto hold on the max. test voltage, automatic alarm when the residual voltage exceeds 60/34V.
