1. Introduction
The IK mechanical impact test apparatus is designed according to IEC60068-2-75 Test Eha and Test Ehc, and can meet the requirement of IEC62262, IEC60598, EN50102, GB2423.55-2006, GB20138-2006 and etc. It is apply to sheet metal, household appliance, luminaire and etc. for mechanical impact testing.
This equipment is consisted by striking elements ( (≤1J/0.25kg *1, 2J/0.5kg*2, 5J/1.7kg*2, 10J/5kg*2, 20J/5kg*2), swing pipes, guideways and test rig, striking elements work with swing pipes to perform IK01 to IK10 pendulum hammer impact tests, striking elements work with guideways to perform IK07 to IK10 impact hammer impact tests. The test rig is made of aluminum alloy, with four wheels at the bottom, and the whole device can move freely.
For pendulum impact test, the swing pipe can be adjusted back and forward, left and right, and the angle also can be adjusted. Pendulum hammer working principle: the sample is placed in normal, then adjust the impact points, and position the impact device, then release the hammer to freely striking the specimen. The impact angle and impact height are adjustable to fit with the impact points.
For vertical impact test, each striking elements equip with a fixed-height guideway (2J striking element equip with Φ40mm*471mm, 5J striking element equip with Φ68mm*385mm guideway, 10J striking element equip with Φ89mm*337mm guideway, 20J striking element equip with Φ108mm*520mm guideway). Vertical hammer working principle: The hammer is released by electromagnet to ensure instantaneous freely fall through the guideway, the guideway shall not rest on the specimen and the striking element shall be free of the guideway on the striking the specimen.
