1. Introduction
IPX1-6 waterproof test chamber combines the drip box, oscillating tube and jet hose nozzles in one system, it meets the test requirement of IEC60529 regarding the IP level IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5 and IPX6. Waterproof test simulates the condition of vertical water drops, water spraying/splashing, water jets and powerful water jets, which is mainly applied to electronic products, luminaire, electric components, motor and house-holding appliance. The waterproof test can help to judge the products’ performance, and provide the basis for design, improve and inspect.
The inner box and turntable is made by SUS304 stainless steel with thickness of 1.2mm, which can against the water impact. The outer box is made of high quality steel covered with paint. Built in water tank and with ball valve to control water level, the water can be recycled. The system is controlled by Panasonic PLC and 7 inch touch screen, user is easy to operate the tests.
2. Features

● The shell is made of high-quality steel plate, and the surface is sprayed with paint.
● The inner box and turntable are made of SUS304# to make sure it will not rust for long time use.
● The oscillating tube is driven by Chinese branded servo motor, speed and angle can be adjusted accurately.
●The water filter is installed on water supply line, which can filter impurities in water and prevent the nozzle from block.
● The drip box for IPX1/2 tests adopts vacuum design and is made of stainless steel; the contact position of the nozzle adopts a brass cone design, which is convenient for installing the spray needle. It has the function of compressed air drying. After the test is completed, the excess water in the drip box can be removed to avoid the accumulation of water and scaling and block the pinhole (user prepare the air compressor).
● The oscillating tube for IPX3/4 tests is driven by Chinese branded stepper motor, the rotate speed and angle can be adjusted accurately.
●Jet hose nozzles strictly designed according to IEC60529 figure 6, Φ6.3mm nozzle for IPX5, Φ12.5mm for IPX6. The test distance is 2.5m. The nozzles is controlled by stepper motor to swing up and down, this function can make sure the surface of the specimen is almost be all sprayed.
● The turntable is driven by stepper motor, the speed can be preset on touch screen, and can control forward and reverse rotation to fit for live test (prevent winding).
● The inner box is installed with outlet-outlet for specimen (AC 220V/10A) to support live test, on and off time is controlled within 0-999min (on)~0-999min (off) , which is applied to on-off test.
● Built-in water tank, the water can be recycled, and no need to build a professional waterproof test room. The water level is controlled by ball valve with alarm. High and low water level alarm monitoring, effectively prevent the water pump from being damaged due to lack of water.
● Transparent observation window made of toughened glass material, working chamber equipped with LED lighting, user can observe the specimen during the test.
● Controller: Adopts 7 inch touch screen and Panasonic PLC. The electrical components adopt famous brands such as LS and Omron. The wiring technology meets the requirements of national standards. The electrical board layout is reasonable, the wiring is firm, and the marking is clear.
● Preset IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4, IPX5 and IPX6 test procedures, users only need to select the waterproof level, and the equipment will perform the test in accordance with the standard requirements.
