2,2'-Methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol)

2,2' -methylene bis -(4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol) pure white powder, long-term exposure to air slightly yellowish-pink. Slightly phenolic odor. Easily soluble in benzene, acetone and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, solubility in rubber is higher than 2%.

Used in light and colored rubber products, in the plastics industry, the antioxidant 2246 can prevent the thermal and optical aging of chlorinated polyethers, impact resistant polystyrene, ABS resins, polyformaldehyde, cellulose resins.
