Description
SNV-EKL3.2 Earth fault and short circuit indicator, it Widely used in various ring cabinets, high-voltage switch-gear and cable branch box in power system, can accurately and reliably detect the fault section and fault type of power grid. The use of Earth fault and short circuit indicator is an efficient way to check cable fault, and is an effective way to improve the operation level of distribution network and the efficiency of fault handling. The design uses electromagnetic induction, photoelectric conversion, signal optical fiber transmission and single chip microcomputer control technology to make fault alarm with high accuracy and strong anti-interference ability.
Equipped with fault remote transmission port, suitable for distribution network automation; Battery low power alarm indication; Low-power design, high-capacity lithium battery power supply, long battery life (more than 8 years); external structure using card or lock design, the whole machine is easy to load and unload.
Function character
1) Intelligent detection of short-circuit and ground fault and through the corresponding LED indicator on the panel to indicate.
2)Display Monitor panel designed with button, it is convenient for reset/or test.
3)It can set The pulse width time(Response time) of fault current for preventing incorrect fault indication caused by surge current.
4)It can set the reset time.
5)It can set the short circuit alarm current via the Dip on short circuit sensor
6)It can set the earth fault alarm current via the Dip on display unit monitor.
7)It can reset and detect the remote fault indication device remotely.

10)Low battery display and alarm
Function description
1) short circuit alarm indicating: when short circuit sensor detected a short circuit fault current, when the current is greater than or equal to the setting value, then the short circuit sensor send alarm signal to monitor panel through fiber. And the monitor will display the alarm signal, the short circuit fault LED will be flash.
2) Earth fault alarm indicating: when the earth fault sensor detected a earth fault current, when the current is greater than or equal to the setting value, then the earth fault sensor send alarm signal to monitor panel through cable. And the monitor will display the alarm signal, at same time, the earth fault LED will be flash.
3) Battery low voltage alarm indicating: the monitor use the battery to supply power. When the battery voltage is lower than the min. working voltage 2.7V, then the Low voltage alarm led will flash.
4)Automatic reset: After the indicator alarm the fault, if there are without manual reset it, when the time reach our Reset time setting, indicator will automatically reset.
5) Manual Reset: After the indicator alarm the fault, user can press the button “ reset/test” to reset it.
6)Remote Reset: During indicator indicating fault, Through the pin 11-12 back of the monitor, connect the remote button to control the indicator reset.
7)Remote Test: During indicator on normal condition, Through the pin 11-12 of the monitor, connect the remote button to operate simulation test.
8) Remote indicating fault: Connect an External Lamp on the pin 9-10, when the indicator indicating fault, the External blink at same time, then achieved long distance indicating fault.
9) Remote upload SCADA: connecting connect pin13-14, or Pin13-15, when indicator indicating fault, A signal will be upload to SCADA.
