Magnetic level sensor for acid corrosive liquids is typically used in hydrochloric acid tanks, hypochlorous acid tanks, sulfuric acid tanks, nitric acid tanks. The duct pipeis made of UPVC, PP, or SS304 with tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lining . As the magnetic float level sensor is side-mounted by the tanks external , therefore avoiding the sensor contacting directly with the corrosive acid liquids .
Based on our rich experience , we suggest PP or PVC duct pipe for strong acid corrosive liquids when the ambient temperature and pressure as well as the measuring range is less than 2 meters , that is because the PP/ PVC pipes have the material aging problem , which can not last for long time. While the working condition is high pressure , high temperature and long measuring range , we alwaysy suggest the stainless steel 304 duct pipe with the inner PTFE lining for long lifetime .

Transmitter fixed on the measuring duct pipe of the magnetic level gauge by a clamp, and the transmitter can be installed at the upper end or at the lower end. The transmitter is an electronic precision part, which is strongly affected by the environment. The normal operating temperature range is -40 to 85°C, there may be unclear display or signal interruption If the environment is harsh.
