Use of personnel should carefully read the following instructions for use, this is just a brief attentions, further information please refer to the manual book delivered together with the machine!!

Installation ＆ Adjustment

1) When load and unload mixer:

If you use hoister, please use the steel rope to fasten up 4 braces on 4 corners of mixer. Due to the weight of mixer is not so balanced (the side of motor & gearbox is heavier than the other side), please pay much attention to the lifting-position and barycenter/center of gravity.

If using the forklift, please keep the balance of barycenter/center of gravity and do not touch the discharging system and other components on bottom. Mixer with jacket or with insulation is forbidden to use forklift!

When unload the mixer with wooden package, it should be done by skilled stevedore, pay much attention to the barycenter/center of gravity, it may be not in the middle, and take caution to prevent any possibility of dumping

Warning: the mixer might swing or suddenly move quickly to unpredicted sides during the set up phase. High attention is required. And no one allowed to stand under the mixer

2) Check the installation platform or stand before putting mixer onto the stand and then tighten the nuts/screws or do butt-welding.

If it is a detachable platform made by us, please weld the joint again after installation for the safety consideration, otherwise, you much check the screw every quarter time

3) Lubrication

There is no oil or little oil in the speed reducer/gearbox, before running the mixer, please fill it with the right oil, or empty the existing oil first and then fill with new oil（middle duty industrial gear oil）

use 220-320# oil or the right oil No. to lubricate the speed reducer/gearbox. International oil No. please see the picture below, Before testing the mixer, please make sure the oil level is in the middle of the oil mirror, not too much or too little,please check the vent cap in the gearbox before running the mixer

4) Sealing: Stuffing seal, air purged seal

1. Stuffing seal, oil/floating seal: special stuffing seal can be cleaned and replaced. It belongs to easily worn-out parts, if it is worn-out, please replace it timely

2.  Air purged sealing:  

a. air compressor—tube—air inlet (near to main shaft end or choppers)  

make sure the air is filling non-stop in the shaft and keep the pressure of the air room 4-7 bar before turn on the mixer! otherwise the air purged seal will be damaged

b. air level indicator see picture 4.2 below, keep the ball in the meter above “100”

c. the mixer or the other machines near the mixer should have the air vent

you can choose 4kw-7.5kw air compressor for only one mixer’s using(depends on the size of the mixer), if you have more other machines share the air, you should use larger air compressor to make sure enough air in the sealing! Besides, the air going to the sealing should be dried and clean

The mixer should have vent or dust collector for the air to go out, it is forbidden to seal the air inside

3) Pneumatic valve connection way please see picture5, pay attention to the indicator in the box, and remember to add oil for the FRL
