TBS-4 is an advanced and precise instrument for measuring solar and sky radiation in outdoor environments. It seamlessly integrates robotic control technology with radiation measurement techniques, resulting in a highly reliable and efficient product. The system incorporates comprehensive technologies together which are solar tracking, angle measurement, radiation spectrum analysis, and GPS satellite positioning. It not only measures the direct solar radiation in ten different spectral bands, but also provides measurements of total solar radiation(horizontal/vertical), scattered radiation, sunshine duration, solar incidence angle, atmospheric aerosol thickness, and various other parameters.


It finds wide application in various fields, including environmental monitoring, meteorology, solar energy research, and oceanography. It is mainly utilized for measuring the radiation intensity of the sun and sky in various spectral bands, directions, and time periods in the visible and near-infrared range. This data is then used to deduce the properties of atmospheric aerosols, water vapor, ozone, and other components. 3.Feature

1)Using synchronous measurement technology, TBS-4 can simultaneously monitor direct radiation in 10 spectral bands and measure additional solar parameters like total radiation, scattered radiation, sunshine duration, and solar altitude at the same time. This eliminates the time discrepancies found in sequential measurements, resulting in improved accuracy for solar spectral analysis.


2)Automatic aiming. Applying optical scanning & time tracking dual-tracking technology. TBS-4 can autonomously track the sun's rotation throughout the day without manual intervention, ensuring continuous and accurate measurements.


3)It can calculate the thickness of atmospheric aerosols, which are colloidal dispersions consisting of small solid particles or liquid droplets suspended and dispersed in a gaseous medium. The system uses sky scan data and solar radiation data to determine the atmospheric transmittance or the intensity of scattered light. By comparing this with standard photometry, it can retrieve the optical and other characteristics of aerosols, such as particle size distribution and phase function. This allows for the estimation of properties like aerosol optical thickness, water vapor, and ozone in the atmosphere.


4)Real-time GPS positioning and tracking provide accurate latitude, longitude, and altitude information for the current location.


5)TBS-4 supports both automatic and manual tracking modes. In addition to automatic tracking of the sun, users can also manually specify the orientation and rotate the instrument using the control panel.


6)Easy installation and maintenance free.


7)GPS satellite positioning and tracking technology ensures that even when the sun is obscured by clouds or during low-light conditions, the tracking measurement accuracy remains below 1%.
