1、 Product Overview

The power cable fault locator is used for distance measurement of power cable fault points. It is characterized by easy identification of waveform, high resolution, friendly interface, support for touch keys and mechanical keys, and easy operation.

It can be used independently under low-voltage pulse mode; In pulse current mode, it needs to be used together with high-voltage signal generator; In the multiple pulse mode, it must also cooperate with the cable test multiple pulse coupler; After the distance measurement is completed, the digital multi-function cable fault fixer must be used for accurate fixed-point. Together, they form a set of high-performance cable fault finding systems that can provide a variety of innovative features.

2、 Functional features

1. Multiple ranging methods:

 Low voltage pulse method: it is applicable to the accurate ranging of low resistance, short circuit and broken line faults, as well as the measurement of the full length of the cable, intermediate joints, T-joints and terminal heads, and the correction of wave velocity.

 Pulse current method: it is applicable to the ranging of high resistance and flashover faults. The current coupler is used to collect signals from the test ground wire, which is completely isolated from the high-voltage part, safe and reliable.

 Multiple pulse method: The most advanced ranging method in the world is the improvement of the secondary pulse method. The waveform is clear and easy to identify, and the ranging accuracy is high.

2.200MHz real-time sampling:

 The highest sampling frequency of domestic similar instruments is in line with the highest international level.

 Provide the maximum ranging resolution of 0.4m, with small measurement blind area, which is particularly effective for near end faults and short cables.

3. Touch operation and mechanical key operation

 Touch the key to make the operation more flexible, with gesture operation function.

 The cursor can be dragged and double clicked for easier and more convenient positioning.

5. Picture in picture temporary display function

6. Waveform storage and computer online communication:

 A large number of waveforms can be stored in the machine.

 U disk is used to export waveform data.

7. Power management:

 When the instrument is not operated within 2 minutes, the backlight will be weakened; 10 minutes without operation, it will automatically shut down to reduce power consumption; When the battery is under voltage, the instrument will automatically shut down to protect the battery.
