I. Overview of TD130-1 variable head penetration tester
TD130-1 variable head penetration test instrument is developed by Hebei Tianqi Xingzi Testing Equipment Co., LTD according to T0130-2007 "Constant Head Penetration Test" in "People's Republic of China Industry Standard JTGE40-2007".
TD130-1 variable head permeability tester is suitable for fine grained soil. The distilled water used in this test should be degassed by pumping or boiling before the test. The water temperature during the test should be 3 ~ 4℃ higher than room temperature. It is mainly composed of upper cover, base, sleeve, ring knife, permeable stone, screw and so on. The instrument is changed into the middle spiral rod in the pressing way, and the deficiencies of the same type of instrument are improved to make the operation more convenient.

Iii. Operation procedure of TD130-1 variable head penetration test instrument
1. Prepare the sample by referring to the geotechnical test procedure SD128-012-84 of the Ministry of Hydropower of variable Head Osmosis Instrument, or JTJ051-93, Highway Geotechnical Test Procedure T013-93
2. Put the seepage stone and sealing ring into the base, coat the inner wall of the sleeve with a layer of petroleum jelly, put the soil sample ring knife, and scrape the excess petroleum jelly on the base.

V. Technical requirements of TD130-1 variable Head Penetration tester:
1. The variable head penetrator should have a nameplate, which should indicate the product name, model specification, number, manufacturer name and factory date.
2. The surface of the instrument castings should have no obvious holes, the permeable coating should be smooth, smooth and uniform with the same tone, and there should be no defects affecting the appearance quality such as peeling, scratches and scratches.
3. The top cover, the bottom cover and the sleeve shall be made of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant metal materials that are not easy to deform, and the surface roughness of the surface and inner wall is RM6.3
4. Both ends of the permeable plate should be flat, and its permeability coefficient should not be less than 1X10 cubic centimeters.
5. Ring cutter shall comply with the provisions of SD191-86 (cutting ring cutter).
6. After the instrument is assembled and tightened, the ring knife should not be suspended and not be damaged under pressure and should not leak under 100KPa air pressure.
7. The water force tube shall meet the requirements of Class B burette 1-100ml.
Vi. Notes for TD130-1 Variable Head Penetration Tester:
1. The rubber tube at the top cover outlet pipe is not easy to reach the root, so more than 6mm should be set aside to prevent compression with the sleeve.
2, each time after use should be wiped dry, sealing ring should be wiped with talcum powder preservation.
