Marshall stability specimen automatic compaction instrument is developed and produced by Cangzhou Tading Hengye Testing Instrument Co., LTD., according to JTG E20-2011 Asphalt Base Asphalt Mixture Test Regulations for Highway Engineering /T0702-2011 "Method for Making mixed material Specimens (Compaction method)".
The product is suitable for the asphalt mixture specimen made by standard compaction method or large compaction method for the laboratory to test the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixture
Two, structural performance:
1.ZK702 series Marshall stability specimen automatic compactor is composed of two parts: mechanical transmission and control instrument. The mechanical transmission mechanism is driven by motor, reducer and chain. The motor drives the reducer and the reducer drives the sprocket to rotate. When the hammer hit the oblique wedge, the hammer and the chain block off, the hammer free fall along the guide rod compaction specimen.
2. Integrated circuit control, preset counter, counter can be selected in the range of 1~999, and memory function. The instrument panel is provided with preset switch, digital display, equipped with start, stop, reset buttons.
3. The compacting instrument can automatically compacting according to the preset compaction times, and automatically cut off the control circuit and shut down the motor when the set value is reached. The mechanical transmission and control of the instrument are divided into two parts to improve the reliability of the machine.

Five, instructions:
(1) Preparation work
1. Determine the mixing and compaction temperature of the asphalt mixture specimen.
2, with automatic mixing material mixing machine asphalt mixture.
3. Wipe the test mold, sleeve and compaction base with cotton yarn with a little butter, and heat it in the oven at about 100℃ for 1h.
(2) Use steps
1. Add the heated mixture to the test mold. Insert thermometer near center of mixture. When the temperature meets the requirements, a small oil-absorbent round paper is placed on the top of the assembled mixture, and then the compaction head equipped with a compaction hammer and guide rod is inserted into the test mold.
2, dial the "preset" dial plate, according to the need to set the number of hitting. After pressing the "Set Number" button, the preset number will be displayed in the window. Press the "Start" button, the motor turns, reaches the compaction times, the window displays "00", the motor will stop automatically.
3. After compaction of one side of the specimen, remove the sleeve, turn the test mold around, install the sleeve, and then hammer the other side in the same way and times.
4, the specimen compaction end, immediately remove the upper and lower paper with tweezers, with calipers to take the height of the specimen, do not meet the requirements, the specimen should be invalid. Remove the sleeve and base in accordance with the requirements, stand at room temperature for 12 hours, and place the stripping machine to remove the specimen.
Six, matters needing attention
1. If the counter does not work after energized, it should be checked whether the distance between the contact switch or limit switch and the metal sheet of the chain is too large, and the gap between them can not exceed 2mm.
2, after the shutdown, if you do not need the long-term pronunciation of music, you can press the preset button, the sound will be no. (7) Open the instrument and start compaction. After compaction on one side, turn the test model around and then hit the other side.
3. After completion, remove the upper and lower paper to check whether the size of the specimen meets the requirements.
4. When hitting, it is strictly forbidden to extend fingers or tools into the test mold to prevent personal injury accidents. When the instrument STOPS due to a fault, the power supply must be cut off first, and then the compaction hammer is clamped manually before the test mold can be removed to prevent the accidental fall and harm to people.
5, at the end of the test, clean up the instrument in time, necessary to add lubricating oil.
Seven, Marshall compaction instrument check method
1. The falling distance of the hammer and the height of the compaction cylinder are measured with a steel ruler.
2. Use vernier calipers to measure the diameter of hammer bottom and compaction cylinder, respectively in two directions perpendicular to each other, and take the arithmetic average.
3. Weigh the weight of the hammer with a balance.
Installation and commissioning:
A. The compacter shall be horizontally installed on the cement concrete base and fixed with embedded anchor bolts M10 x 250, with a distance of 500 x 500mm between the center of the bolt holes.
b. Before pouring the base, the level of the instrument and the center of the compactor head should be adjusted. During adjustment, the test mold is installed on the basis of the steel plate platform of the test mold, release the safety lever, lift the guide rod up and down by hand, adjust the position and level of the compacting table to adjust the gap between the compacting head and the test mold pressing ring, and ensure that there is no friction between the compacting head and the test mold pressing ring, so that the compacting head can move up and down freely in the test mold.
c. Pour the cement concrete into the concrete base of the instrument base (including the bottom of the box) and level with the base mouth (the wooden pier is partially buried).
Appliance for calibration
2.1 Steel ruler: measuring range 500mm, indexing value 1mm.
2.2 Vernier caliper: measuring range 300mm, indexing value 0.02mm.
2.3 Balance: Weighing 5000g, sensing 5g
