Differential expansion/axial position monitor
The so-called differential expansion refers to the strain on the structure. If an axis is fixed on the cross section, the load on the axis is the strain when the structure appears uneven deformation. The greater the strain, the more serious the deformation. In this paper, we propose an elastic strain gauge system, which combines the elastic strain gauge sensor with the mechanical strain gauge sensor, and uses the mechanical strain gauge sensor to monitor the differential stress between the two sensors in real time. It has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, small size, reliable operation, strong anti-interference ability, fast response speed and so on. It is widely used in construction machinery at present, and the market potential is huge.
1. This system adopts two different types of sensors, which are respectively installed on two mechanical shafts, as shown in Figure 2.
The measuring principle of the two sensors is basically the same, that is, the displacement error of the mechanical shaft can be calculated by measuring the displacement of the two axes, and the time information of the mechanical shaft's response to the pressure and strain can be obtained. The sensor can measure not only the pressure stress but also the liquid strain. After the mechanical shaft is installed with this sensor, the pressure sensor can be installed at the displacement sensor. In this way, a force feedback mechanism is formed between the displacement probe and the pressure sensor, which can better reflect the actual differential strain between the two pressure sensitive elements. Therefore, the monitoring accuracy of this system has been greatly improved. It also provides reliable technical support for structural design and manufacture.
2, when the displacement of two structural parts, the elastic strain gauge sensor will measure the change of displacement;
During the working process, the elastic strain gauge sensor is responsible for transferring the mechanical displacement information to the mechanical strain gauge sensor installed on the two structural parts, and the displacement information generated between them will be recorded in real time. When the displacement of two structural parts occurs, the elastic strain gauge sensor will measure the axial position through the displacement, and transfer the displacement data to the mechanical strain gauge sensor. When the displacement of two structural parts occurs, the mechanical strain gauge automatically feeds back the strain measurement results between the two structural parts to the elastic strain gauge measuring equipment. The two elastic deformation gauge sensors convert the two displacements into corresponding positions respectively and output them to the mechanical strain gauge testing equipment. After the signals are transmitted to the testing equipment, the converted signals can be used for the vibration and fault diagnosis of the mechanical transmission mechanism in the system. It provides accurate and reliable basis for mechanical transmission mechanism structure performance monitoring and fault diagnosis, and also reduces the detection error and improves the working efficiency of detection equipment and technicians.
