German technical background  VOK-800 leveling agent

VOK-DYNWET 800 is suitable for non-silicone substrate wetting of water-based coatings, printing inks, adhesives and sealants, glass fiber impregnation as well as cleaners, care products and detergents. Slight foam stabilization reduces dynamic surface tension and is particularly recommended for applications with high-speed applications.

The additive reduces dynamic surface tension and improves substrate wettability. It is especially recommended for high-speed construction applications. When added to the abrasive, it can reduce the viscosity of the abrasive, increase the gloss, coloring strength and transparency, and can reduce the floating color of mixed colors.

0.5-2 % additive dosage (form of supply) is based on the total formulation.

Addition method and processing guidance 

When used to improve substrate wetting, additives must be added to the finished coating; To improve the pigment grinding effect, additives must be added to the abrasive. Using VOK-DYNWET 800 may have a slight foam stabilizing effect.

Recommended Use 

The additive is suitable for all water-based adhesives and sealants. Ideal for high-speed casting, e.g. for production tapes (PSA)

Recommended dosage 

0.2-1.2 % additive dosage (form of supply) is based on the total formulation.

Can be added at any stage, including later. Glass fiber impregnation Features and benefits VOK-DYNWET 800 reduces the dynamic surface tension of impregnated coatings and therefore improves the wetting effect of glass fibers. It is especially recommended for applications with high-speed construction.

0.7-3 % additive dosage (form of supply) is based on the total formulation.

Addition method and processing guidance 

It can be added with stirring at any stage, and VOK-DYNWET 800 may have a slight foam stabilization effect during the mixing phase. Detergent, cleaning and care products features and benefits VOK-DYNWET 800 improves substrate wetting capacity of self-polishing wax emulsions (matt and high-gloss). VOK-DYNWET 800 does not increase the slip of the system, does not contain fluorine, and does not affect subsequent construction.

0.1 % - 1.0 % Additive dosage (form of supply) is based on the total formulation. 

Addition method and processing guidance 

The VOK-DYNWET 800 can be added at any stage, but it is recommended first. The additive is mainly used in formulations containing plasticizers that are pre-emptively prepared with volatile plasticizers to form a solution of 10% active substance.
