1. Product Introduction

The titanium carbide cermet rod(TiC rod) belongs to the steel-bonded cemented carbide, which is a kind of compound material based on the steel as the binder phase and used the refractory metal carbide(mainly the titanium carbide and the tungsten carbide) as the hard phase. The TiC rod is the high-hardness and high-strength titanium-based alloy composite material.

The titanium carbide cermet is mainly used for Hammer head, alloy ball, alloy plate wear part, machine equipment wear parts, large crusher hammer head, large ball mill. It can improve the service life of equipment. The prodouct is mainly used for heavy machinery gear tunneling of roadheader which plays an important role in improveing boring machine life, improving by even3-5 times.

Contacting directly with the rock ,so it is service life that directly influences boring machine's efficiency. Lots of boring machine such as S100,EBJ1600 has a lot of disadvantages: like low hardness, poor wear resistance, big coefficient of friction, poor corrosion resistance, low thermal conductivity and so on.The titanium carbide based cermet can be used in bad working environment, and it can improve the service life.The titanium have strong high temperature resistant corrosive. The life of our hammer can be improved by inserting Titanium Carbide to the impact face of the hammer. It can be cast for the cement, mining, aggregates and other industrial industries.
