Cooling tower filling, also named as cooling tower fill media, or cooling tower fill pack, or cooling tower infill, or cooling tower filler, is made of PVC or PP plain plate, hot pressed in a certain mould and produced with different designs and sizes. It is a media located in the middle or bottom of the cooling tower. Some cooling towers would be full of the fill media, some would have half and half of the fill media, and some large cooling towers would be installed 1 layer of the fill media in the bottom.

Cooling tower fill manufactured from rigid PVC sheets conforming for cooling tower heat-transfer applications. The media is fabricated from corrugated PVC sheets that are solvent-welded for maximum strength and resistant to UV, rot, fungus, organic and inorganic solvents, acids, alkali and chemicals normally found in cooling tower waters.

Available in various mil thickness and heights, especially designed to meet the distinct needs of your particular application, whether that is new construction, emergency repair, thermal upgrade or reconstruction.

The LC cooling tower fill is one of our major counter flow cooling tower fills. Even if there is not notable A and B on the surface, but there still have matching connection points for glue. The distance between two pieces are 19-20mm more or less.

The thickness are 0.27mm to 0.38mm, the length and the width is fixed.

There are 4 sizes per piece: 750mm*800mm, 750mm*1600mm, 1000mm*1200mm and 375mm*800mm.

Note:

In order to save the shipping cost, we advise to glue the fills in customer’s site. When it finished gluing, customers can cut their certain block size to suit for their square brand cooling tower. Please pay more attention to the following things in the gluing: * Please do not expose the LC PVC fill under the strong sunshine to avoid any deformed. If the outside temperature is higher than 40 degree, the PVC film fill will be deformed within 1-2 hours under the strong sunshine. No matter it is 100% new PVC or recycle PVC, the strong sunshine will deform it very fast. * Please do not use the airtight or air impermeability material packing the BL PVC fill, such as the transparent plastic film or bubble plastic film. That will keep the PVC fill in a higher temperature without any cool air come in and may bring some deformed. * Please do not use the PVC LC cooling tower fill if the water temperature is more than 60 degree.

Production Process

The raw material for cooling tower fills are same, they will come out in different designs via thermal pressure with different mold. We can also build new mold according to your request. In fact, we have many different series, you can choose the type you need. PP and PVC material are for options. PP fill sheets are high temperature resistant. But most popular material is PVC sheets. It's economic.
