I. Introduction of Disc Pelletizer

Disc Pelletizer is the main equipment to make the powder form material into ball, mainly used in the cement industry, steel industry and compounded fertilize industry it has the many advantages such as: ball as even, easy control water in ball, high ball strength, and the structure is simple, conveniently control, little energy depletion, revolve steady, etc.

II.Working Principle

The pan revolves at a certain angle with the horizontal plane driven by the motor through reducer. The powder will rise along with the revolving pan under the friction between the powder and the pan, on the other hand, the powder will fall down under the function of its gravity.

At the same time, the powder is to the pan edge because of the centrifugal force. The powder material rolls in a certain trace under the function of these three forces. It gradually becomes the required size, and then overflows by the pan edge. It has the advantages of high granulating rate, homogeneous grain, high strength, easy to operate, convenient maintenance.

III.Main Advantages
(1) The disk angle is designed with circular arc structure. Hence, the granulation rate may reach 93% or above.
(2) The disk of our disc granulator is designed with three discharging holes, which is convenient for intermittent production work. This largely reduces labor intensity and increases working efficiency.
(3) The reducer and motor of our disc granulator are both driven by flexible belt, which ensures stable start, reduced impact force and longer service life.
(4) Disc bottom is reinforced by multi-strip radiation steel plates, so it is wear resistant, durable and will never deform.

(5) Thickened and strengthened granulator-base provides our disc granulator with stable operation. Therefore, our disc granulator is no need to be fixed by foundation bolts.
(6) The main gear is processed by high frequency quenching technique. As a result, the lifetime of our disc granulator is greatly prolonged.
(7) The granulator disk is lined with glass reinforced plastics, which is anti-corrosive and durable.
