The Horizontal Ribbon Mixer is equipped with two stirring shafts with many blades on it. The ribbon blades rotate in opposite directions to force the material to make spiral movement. When the material reaches one side of the machine, the shape will turn it over to the other side where there is another shaft making the same movement.

When the crossed blades are moving, a fluidized weightlessness and rotation vortex is formed in the center of the chamber. According to the movement locus of the material in the weightlessness mixer, the space can be divided into three zones: The rotation zone, the revolution zone (circumferential movement), and the weightless zone, which will form a full cycle to achieve the rapid mixing purpose.
