Brief introduction of wood sawdust briquette machine

This biomass briquette press machine is used to make sawdust into half-charcoal stick. It is equiped with the auto -controlling heating system. The product of this machine can be used to heat boiler, fireplace, etc for warm in house.

Raw material of wood sawdust briquette machine

Almost all type of Agro-Forestry waste canbe used, including: wood chips, maize stalks, soybean stalks, broomcorn stalks, cotton stalks, rape stalks, peanut plants, sunflower stalks, bamboo saw dust, bagasse, etc. Most of biomass can be used directly as per specification. If raw material has more than 12% of moisture content, it requires drying process. If the raw material is more than10mm. It requires cutting process.

Working principle of wood sawdust briquette machine

Briquetting is a process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature.

The self bonding of biomass to form a briquette involves the thermo plastic flow of the biomass. The lignin content that occurs naturally in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature. Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes.

Working process of wood sawdust briquette machine

1. Crushing the raw materials into size no bigger than 5mm. (wood branch, coconut shell, peanut shell)

2. Dry the crushed materials to 8-12%.

3. Pressing to raw material into briquette by putting the dried materials into briquette machine.

4. Put biomass briquettes into the Carbonization Stove to change the sawdust briquettes into biomass briquettes (final products, this step is for optional, if you do not need charcoal, no need to use this machine)

5. The shape of briquette can be round, square, hexagonal.
