Introduction

The operating principle of this instrument is: weigh a small amount of sample with a sample cuvette and place it in the test cell of the PDSC instrument. Heat the test cell of the PDSC instrument to the specified temperature, and then pass in oxygen at a certain pressure after equilibrium. The test cell of the PDSC instrument is kept at the specified temperature and oxygen pressure until the exothermic oxidation reaction occurs. Measure the extrapolated inflection point time as the oxidation induction period of the lubricating oil at the specified test temperature.
