Single modular brake DBK10 is one unit of complete pneumatic brake DBK250, it can be used independently. This type of small brake is suitable for small torque or installation space limited situation. DBK10 pneumatic single modular caliper disc brake is simple structure, which is not equiped with friction disc. Its friction pad can be disassembled independently for replacement.
DBK10 braking pads thickness is 10mm, it is suitable for 10mm thickness friction disc, braking disc diameter is 250mm or larger is available. When braking plate diameter different, it produce braking force is different. for the DBK10, when braking plate diameter is 250mm, braking force is about 160N.m; if braking plate diameter is 350mm, its braking power is nearly 240N.m. So we can see that braking disk diameter, modular quantity and air pressure are three factors influence fan cooled caliper disc brake's braking force.
Except DBK10 single modular brake, its module quantity can be chosen as needed. When module quantity is two, its model is DBK10.2; On the other hand, when this brake used for braking disc thickness different is also available. For example, when this DBK brake used for clamping 20mm thickness friction disc, it named DBK20. It is also can be equiped with different number of module, like DBK20.2, DBK20.3, DBK20.4 and etc.
