1) Polyurethane field: Polyurethane elastomer is widely used in synthetic rubber, elastic fiber, synthetic leather and other fields. 1,6-hexanediol can be applied to a polyester resin for modifying a polyurethane elastomer. The modified resin is excellent in mechanical strength, water resistance, heat resistance, and oxidation resistance.
