1) Polyurethane field: Polyurethane elastomer is widely used in synthetic rubber, elastic fiber, synthetic leather and other fields. 1,6-hexanediol can be applied to a polyester resin for modifying a polyurethane elastomer. The modified resin is excellent in mechanical strength, water resistance, heat resistance, and oxidation resistance.

2) Polyester field: Since the 1,6-hexanediol unsaturated polyester carbon chain is more difficult to hydrolyze than other short-chain alcohol unsaturated polyesters, and has better flexibility, it can improve the alkali resistance of the resin and improve Its adhesion to fiberglass.
